Pork Chops in Cream Sauce Recipe
INGREDIENTS:
-
6 loin pork chops
-
1 beef bouillon cube
-
1/2 cup water
-
2 Tbls flour
-
2 Tbls brown sugar
-
3/4 cup water
-
2 Tbls chopped onion
-
1/2 cup dairy sour cream
-
1Tbls. ketchup
-
1 minced garlic clove
PREPARATION:
-
Brown the pork chops In a large skillet
-
Add 1/2 cup water, brown sugar, onion, ketchup, garlic and the beef bouillon cube and cover
-
Simmer for 30-40 minutes or till the pork chops are tender
-
Remove the pork chops to serving platter and keep them warm
-
Mix the flour with 1/4 cup water in a small bowl, slowly add to cooking liquid, stirring constantly
-
Cook until thickened
-
Stir in sour cream, heat thoroughly. DO NOT BOIL
-
Serve sauce over chops
-

Pork Chops With Orange Soy Sauce Recipe
INGREDIENTS:
PREPARATION:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius)

Mix the orange juice, soy sauce, garlic and thyme
-
Season the pork chops with salt and pepper
-
Heat oil over high heat in a large ovenproof skillet, add the pork chops and sear 1-2 min per side until browned
-
Transfer skillet to oven and bake for about 5 minutes, until just a trace of pink remains in the center
-
Transfer the pork chops to a plate and keep warm
-
Add the reserved orange-soy mixture to the skillet; cook over high heat for 3-5 minutes until sauce is reduced by half
-
Add the pork chops and any juices that have accumulated on the plate

Russian Pork Chops Recipe
INGREDIENTS:

4 Boneless pork chops (about 1 lb.)
-
2 tb Flour
-
1/4 ts Salt
-
1/8 ts Black pepper
-
2 ts Vegetable oil
-
2 Green onions, thinly sliced
-
1 c Chicken broth
-
9 oz Cooked fresh or frozen green beans, cut into pieces
-
2 tb Prepared horseradish
-
1 tb Sour cream
-
1 ts Lemon juice
PREPARATION:
-
Pound chops to 1/4″ thickness
-
Mix 1 tablespoon flour, salt and half the black pepper on waxed paper
-
Coat chops with flour mixture
-
Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat
-
Brown chops on both sides for about 6 minutes and move them aside
-
Add the green onion and sauté for 30 seconds
-
Add 3/4 cup broth, chops and green beans to skillet; simmer, covered, for 4 minutes until cooked through
-
Mix the remaining broth, horseradish, sour cream and flour
-
Remove the pork chops and keep warm
-
Stir horseradish mixture into skillet
-
Cook, stirring, for about 2 minutes until thickened and bubbly
-
Stir in lemon juice and the remaining pepper

Apricot Glazed Pork Chops Recipe
Ingredients:
- 4 pork rib or loin chops, 1/2 inch thick
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 TBS oil
- 1.3 cups (1 lb can) apricot halves (drain and reserve the liquid)
- Reserved apricot liquid, add water to make 1.5 cups
- 2 TBS cornstrach
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- 2 TBS slivered almonds
Preparations:
- Sprinkle chops with salt
- Brown the pork chops in oil on both sides in a fry pan
- Add 1/2 cup of the apricot liquid
- Cover the pan, reduce the heat and simmer for ten minutes
- Combine the cornstarch and the remaining 1 cup of apricot liquid and Add to the chops
- Continue simmering, stirring frequently, until the liquid thickens
- Add apricots and almonds, cover and continue to simmer for 10 minutes
