Apple Pork Chop Recipe #2

A Delicious Apple Pork Chop Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 4 pork chops (1/2-inch thick)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Ground black pepper
  • 2 apples, peeled cored, and sliced
  • 4 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 3/4 cup hot cider

PREPARATION:

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Heat oil in large skillet
  3. Brown the pork chops in oil on both sides
  4. Place the chops in a baking dish just and sprinkle them with salt and pepper
  5. Cover the chops with the apples
  6. In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar, cinnamon, and hot cider
  7. Pour the mixture over the chops
  8. Cover and bake in the preheated oven for 30 to 45 minutes

    Yes, i think this is a great recipe too. I usually get my food from Celebrity Foods now, but this sounds sooooooo good, I am going to have to try it from the ground floor! hahahah!

    the wife and i really enjoyed this recipe. We made it this past weekend and i think we are going to make them again for the Chargers game. we order a lot of our meat from Celebrity Foods so we have plenty to work with.
