hi! after i read your banana cake recipe, i was shock because it's the first time that i'll bake a banana cake with lemon juice. is it really necessary to put lemon juice?

hi i just made a banana cake with your recipe and it tasted great! I halved the portion for a smaller cake since i only had 2 over-ripe bananas. Also, i did not like it too sweet so i cut down on the sugar and not having any lemon juice, i replaced with store bought orange juice instead. The result was a success after 3 failed attempts at baking banana cake using some other recipes:)
Thank you so much for sharing!
