Cuban Pork Chops Recipe
INGREDIENTS:
-
8 4 oz. Center cut pork chops, sliced thin
-
4 Cloves garlic
-
1/4 tsp. Dried oregano
-
1/4 tsp. Ground cumin
-
1/2 c. Sour orange juice -or-
-
1/4 c. Sweet orange Juice combined with
-
1/8 c. Fresh lime and lemon juice
-
2 lg. Onions, thinly sliced
-
1/4 c. Olive oil
-
1/2 c. Dry Cherry
Salt and ground black pepper
PREPARATION:
-
Season the pork chops with salt and pepper
-
Crush the garlic, oregano, and cumin together into a paste
-
Rub the chops with the garlic paste, place in a nonreactive bowl, pour the orange juice over, and cover with the sliced onions. Cover and refrigerate 2 to 3 hours
-
Remove the chops from the marinade, dry gently with paper towel and reserve the marinade
-
In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium heat until fragrant, and then brown the chops on both sides

Add the Cherry and the reserved marinade, including the onions
-
Cover and cook for about 20 minutes until the chops are tender

Cranberry Onion Pork Chop Recipe
INGREDIENTS:
-
4 pork chops (boneless, loin or other)
-
1(8 oz) bottle French dressing
-
1 package of dry onion soup mix
- 1 16 oz can of whole cranberry sauce
PREPARATION:
-
In a large skillet, brown the pork chops on both sides over medium-high heat
-
Stir / mix the French dressing, dry soup mix, and the cranberry sauce in a bowl
-
Mix the sauce well and let it rest for about 15 minutes while chops brown
-
When chops are browned, pour the cranberry sauce mixture over chops in the skillet and bring to a boil
-
Lower the heat, cover and simmer 15 minutes or until chops are done and tender.

When serving, spoon the sauce over pork chops
