Italian Pork Chops Recipe

Italian Pork Chops Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  • 6 center cut pork chops

  • 1 egg, well beaten

  • 1/4 c. water

  • 3/4 c. Italian bread crumbs

  • 1/4 c. olive oil

  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce

  • 6 slices mozzarella cheese

PREPARATION:

  • Mix the egg and water, dip each pork chop in egg mixture

  • Cover the pork chops with the bread crumbs

  • Sauté the pork chops in oil on both sides until brown, place in a baking dish

  • Spoon half of the tomato sauce over the pork chops and top it with a slice of cheese on each chop

  • Spoon the remaining tomato sauce over the pork chops.

  • Bake at 325 degrees Fahrenheit (160 degrees Celsius) for 45 minutes or until chops are done

Baked Orange Pork Chops Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  • 4 boneless pork chops (about 1 1/2 pounds)

  • 1/3 cup orange juice

  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce

  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

  • 1 shallot, chopped

  • 1/4 teaspoon chili sauce (or chili sauce with garlic)

PREPARATION:

  • Rinse the pork chops and pat dry

  • Mix the remaining ingredients together

  • Place the chops in a close box with the marinade and refrigerate overnight

  • Preheat the oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit (220 degrees Celsius)

  • Remove the chops from the box

  • Bake the pork chops for 30 minutes or until they reach an internal temperature of 160 degrees Fahrenheit (70 degrees Celsius)

Baked Pork Chops with Parmesan Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 1/2 cups Italian flavored breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese (about 3 ounces)
  • 1 tablespoon dried rubbed sage
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon grated lemon peel
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 4 bone-in center-cut pork loin chops (each about 1 inch thick)
  • 2 tablespoons (1/4 stick) butter
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Lemon wedges
  • Orange wedges

PREPARATIONS:

  • Heat the oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit (220 degrees Celsius)
  • Mix the breadcrumbs, cheese, sage, cumin, and lemon peel in pie dish
  • Whisk eggs in medium bowl to blend
  • Place flour on plate; season generously with salt and pepper
  • Coat pork chops on both sides with flour; shake off excess
  • Dip chops into the eggs, then coat on both sides with the breadcrumb mixture
  • Melt butter with oil in heavy large ovenproof skillet over medium-high heat
  • Add pork chops to skillet and cook until golden brown, a proximally 2 minutes per side
  • Transfer the skillet with the pork chops to the oven
  • Bake about 20 minutes until the pork chops are crisp on the outside minutes or until they reach an internal temperature of 160 degrees Fahrenheit (70 degrees Celsius)
  • Transfer the pork chops to plates, Garnish with lemon and orange wedges

Cuban Pork Chops Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  • 8 4 oz. Center cut pork chops, sliced thin

  • 4 Cloves garlic

  • 1/4 tsp. Dried oregano

  • 1/4 tsp. Ground cumin

  • 1/2 c. Sour orange juice -or-

  • 1/4 c. Sweet orange Juice combined with

  • 1/8 c. Fresh lime and lemon juice

  • 2 lg. Onions, thinly sliced

  • 1/4 c. Olive oil

  • 1/2 c. Dry Cherry
    Salt and ground black pepper

PREPARATION:

  • Season the pork chops with salt and pepper

  • Crush the garlic, oregano, and cumin together into a paste

  • Rub the chops with the garlic paste, place in a nonreactive bowl, pour the orange juice over, and cover with the sliced onions. Cover and refrigerate 2 to 3 hours

  • Remove the chops from the marinade, dry gently with paper towel and reserve the marinade

  • In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium heat until fragrant, and then brown the chops on both sides

  • Add the Cherry and the reserved marinade, including the onions

  • Cover and cook for about 20 minutes until the chops are tender

Cranberry Onion Pork Chop Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  • 4 pork chops (boneless, loin or other)

  • 1(8 oz) bottle French dressing

  • 1 package of dry onion soup mix

  • 1 16 oz can of whole cranberry sauce

PREPARATION:

  • In a large skillet, brown the pork chops on both sides over medium-high heat

  • Stir / mix the French dressing, dry soup mix, and the cranberry sauce in a bowl

  • Mix the sauce well and let it rest for about 15 minutes while chops brown

  • When chops are browned, pour the cranberry sauce mixture over chops in the skillet and bring to a boil

  • Lower the heat, cover and simmer 15 minutes or until chops are done and tender.

  • When serving, spoon the sauce over pork chops
