This is really, really cute. Unfortunately, I am in a family of die-hard Bama fans and the first thing that comes to mind is "WAR EAGLE"! My boyfriend would turn his nose up for that reason alone. But he enjoys and admires my cakes and would (painfully) agree that this one is top notch quality!

Thank you for your fondant recipe. I tried making it and it tasted good. However, it kept sticking to the board, rolling pin, my hands, etc. I kept adding confectioner's sugar and still very sticky. I kept adding and adding to no avail. What did I do wrong? Should I have continued to add more sugar?

Thank You so much for recipe for fondant and cake! the cake is the best tasting cake i have ever had. it taste a lot like pound cake and i love pound cake. the fondant was very good . I made it for my first time and both recipes were VERY easy to read and make!! I am so thankful for your site. My cake was a huge succes thanks to your recipes and pictures giving me the confidence to try and make my own instead of buy one. hoping i will get better with decorating with some more practice.
Again thank You so much!!!!

OK, I tried your Fondant recipe, but unfortunately it did not work for me. I had to use the sugar syrup recipe instead due to an allergy to Corn. The fondant came out what I thought was perfect but it got SUPER hard and would crack as it started to settle. Please help. I want to do more. ;-)
