Pork Chops With Orange Soy Sauce Recipe
INGREDIENTS:

1 cup fresh orange juice

1 tbsp. reduced sodium soy sauce
-
2 cloves minced garlic
-
1/2 tsp. thyme leaves
-
4 4-oz bone in pork chops, trimmed of fat
-
Salt/pepper to taste

1/2 tbsp. canola oil
PREPARATION:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius)

Mix the orange juice, soy sauce, garlic and thyme
-
Season the pork chops with salt and pepper
-
Heat oil over high heat in a large ovenproof skillet, add the pork chops and sear 1-2 min per side until browned
-
Transfer skillet to oven and bake for about 5 minutes, until just a trace of pink remains in the center

Transfer the pork chops to a plate and keep warm

Add the reserved orange-soy mixture to the skillet; cook over high heat for 3-5 minutes until sauce is reduced by half

Add the pork chops and any juices that have accumulated on the plate
