Pork Chops with Apple Gravy
INGREDIENTS:

4 pork chops
-
1 oz butter
-
2 Tbs olive oil
-
1 onion
-
1 Tbs flour
-
1 beef stock cube
-
1 cup apple juice
-
1 large green apple
PREPARATION:

Heat the butter and olive oil in pan
-
Add peeled and sliced onion, cook until the onion is transparent and remove from pan

Add the pork chops, cook until brown on both sides and remove from pan
-
Add flour to the pan, cook stirring for 1 min
-
Add crumbled stock cube and apple juice
mix well and stir until the sauce boils and thickens -
Reduce the heat, return the chops and onions to the pan
-
Peel the apple, slice thickly and place it over the pork chops
-
Cover the pan, cook over low heat for 15-20 minutes or until the pork chops are tender
